MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:  Ordained Elder in Presbyterian Church; taught Astronaut L. Gordon Cooper to fly helicopters; gave Astronaut Ed White his SAFE for solo flight in helicopter; was member of a Mercury space capsule recovery team; was Officer in Charge of “The Crickets”, a helicopter demonstration team stationed HT-8, Ellyson Field, Pensacola; have met and talked with Prince Charles and Prince Andrews of England; Commission of Region 4 (FL, GA, SC), Clan Buchanan Society; as a result of continuous volunteer, had a concession stand named for me at Woodham High School; Vietnam veteran.  Silver medal winner in bass drumming at Stone Mountain Games.  Studied under three world championship bass drummers.
